Vice-Principal – Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate
Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate is recruiting for a vice-principal effective the 2021-2022 school year. This 1.0 FTE position consists of 0.3 FTE vice principal and 0.7 FTE French Immersion instructional assignment.
Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate is a dual track Grade 7-12 school located in Elie, Manitoba, which is approximately 31 kilometers west of Winnipeg, MB, on Highway #1. Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate has a professional and support staff compliment of 32 for 210 students.
The vice- principal will provide positive and supportive school leadership as he/she works with the Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate staff and its community in promoting and strengthening the following PRSD priorities:

- School Leadership
The vice-principal will be an effective school leader and a collaborative educator as he/she works with Institut Collégial St. Paul’s Collegiate and its community to promote lifelong learning that is consistent with Prairie Rose School Division’s Mission, Vision and Values. The successful candidate will possess strong French language proficiency as well as a clear understanding of immersion methodology and pedagogy. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate competency in the area of French Immersion Education as it relates to middle and senior years and the ability to lead inclusivity throughout the school community.
The selected candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of instructional leadership with a focus on data driven student achievement in the areas of middle, and senior year’s literacy and numeracy. The candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, demonstrate the ability to implement educational goals, and have knowledge of technological applications in an educational setting.
The selected candidate will be a demonstrated life-long learner who has a Bachelor of Education degree. Preference will be given to those who are pursuing or have completed a Masters’ degree in education administration, special education, or curriculum development. A Level II Principal’s certificate is considered an asset.
