Vice – Principal – Hutterian Colony School

The Hutterian Colony School is recruiting for a term vice-principal effective September 8, 2020 to June 30, 2021, or until the return of the incumbent. This position consists of .75 FTE vice-principal and .25 FTE resource assignment.
The Hutterian Colony School Administration Office is located in Elie, Manitoba, which is approximately 30 kilometers west of Winnipeg on the TransCanada Highway. The Hutterian Colony School consists of 17 Hutterian Colony sites with a professional and support compliment of 54 staff for 475 students.
Each of the 17 Hutterian Colony sites provides multi-graded K-8 classroom based instruction. Grades 9-12 courses are delivered to all students by high school teachers using the Hutterian Interactive Television System.
The vice-principal will provide positive and supportive school leadership as he/she works with the Hutterian Colony School Supervising Principal, Hutterian Colony School staff, and the respective values of each Hutterian Colony community while promoting and strengthening the following PRSD priorities:

- School Leadership
The selected candidate for the position will have proven K-12 education leadership strengths and experiences in continuous improvement planning in teaching and learning, student inclusion, student achievement and engagement, technology integration, safe and respectful school cultures, and school-community facilitation.
The selected candidate will be a demonstrated life-long learner who has a Bachelor of Education degree and who is either working towards or has completed a Masters’ degree in education administration, special education, or curriculum development.
