St. Laurent School is recruiting for a 1.0 FTE principal effective the 2020-2021 school year.
St. Laurent School is a K-12 system located in St. Laurent, Manitoba, which is approximately 87 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg, MB, on Highway #6. St. Laurent School has a professional and support staff compliment of 32 for 187 students.
The principal will provide positive and supportive school leadership as he/she works with the St. Laurent School staff and its community in promoting and strengthening the following PRSD priorities:
- A Positive & Safe School Culture
- Student Learning – Achievement and Engagement
- School Leadership
The selected candidate for the position will have proven K-12 Indigenous Education leadership strengths and experiences in continuous improvement planning in teaching and learning, student inclusion, student achievement and engagement, technology integration, safe and respectful school cultures, and school-community facilitation.
The selected candidate will be a demonstrated life-long learner who has a Bachelor of Education degree and who is either working towards or has completed a Masters’ degree in education administration, special education, or curriculum development.
