SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL – HUTTERIAN COLONY SCHOOL SYSTEM

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am pleased to announce the appointment of MR. JACK PHILLIPS as Supervising Principal for the Hutterian Colony School System.

Jack had joined Prairie Rose School Division as Principal of Carman Collegiate in September 2002 and he has provided exceptional school and divisional leadership for 15 years.  Prior to his joining PRSD in September 2002, Jack had served as Principal with the Scenic School Division in Saskatchewan from August 1997 to June 2002, and as a Vice Principal with the Turtle River School Division from August 1993 to June 1996.

As Supervising Principal, Jack will provide administrative and instructional leadership to 17 Hutterian Colony schools that provide multi-graded K-8 classroom-based instruction along with high school programming that is delivered to all students by senior years’ teachers using the Hutterian Interactive Television System.

Jack is a focused educational leader who has a strong commitment to academic excellence and works hard in building positive relations with his students, staff, and community.

Jack’s administrative experience, work ethic, leadership skills, commitment to improving student engagement, and interpersonal skills will ensure that PRSD continues to provide our Hutterian students and communities with great educational opportunities.

Jack begins his new role as Supervising Principal for the Hutterian Colony School System on September 5, 2017.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and PRSD Senior Administration, I extend the very best of wishes to Jack in this new leadership role.
