"Human Service Technology" participants explore interests related to this rapidly growing sector. Students develop knowledge, understandings, and skill sets in effective communication, and the application of appropriate technology in addressing issues related to the maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental, and social well being.

  • A program is made up of a combination of eight (8) in-school and community-based option courses that serve to focus and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of participants through experiences in a broad range of learning environments.
  • Each program must include "Management Skills 40S", a community-based practicum course.
  • Business/Computer credits may be applied toward the Human Service Technology program with the permission of the guidance counselor. Business courses are considered in the context of each student's career plan.
