The Centre strives to meet the educational needs of the community. The most popular General Interest courses involve computers. Students discuss their learning needs with staff and appropriate self-paced material is selected. As with all of our courses, students determine their own schedule within our hours of operation. As students work through the material, staff guides, explains, and encourages, ensuring the students’ success.

Power Up – A computer basics course for women

The Status of Women Division of Manitoba Labour and Immigration sponsors a 15 hour introductory computer course for women. It is intended to promote the importance of technology for women in today’s society/marketplace, to build confidence and to provide training in a non-threatening environment. Call the Centre for more information and to reserve your spot in the next session.
