The Grade 10 students from Miami, Elm Creek and Carman had a fun-filled day participating in the 9th annual PRSD Agroecology Discovery Day at the Ian N Morrison Research Farm in Carman on Tuesday, April 17th. The annual event is a collaborative project organized by PRSD teachers and facilitated by local agriculture experts. This year students had the opportunity to learn about various agroecology topics including soils, weather, entomology, water monitoring, and livestock science. Various hands-on activities took place, such as water quality testing and weather data collection. It was a great day and plans are already underway for our 10 year celebration in 2019!
